One of the most powerful ways we have to fight disease and health conditions is through advocacy, education, and awareness. While awareness months, weeks and days seem to have taken over social media feeds, it’s definitely for good reason…

Educational events and fundraising activities centered around these dates provide significant traction within the healthcare community. Both patients and providers benefit from this exposure. Quite often, early detection through screenings can prevent a disease from spreading further. Simply put, it can save lives.

Below, we’ve highlighted a few dates for each month. However, this list only scratches the surface of the various awareness campaigns scheduled each year. If you don’t see a particular event listed, check with its respective organization – chances are, there’s certainly an observance scheduled.
