Personal Care and Companion Opportunities

As a CNA, HHA, or PCA with NurseCore you will provide ongoing assistance with activities of daily living and companionship in the patient’s home. Because of your extensive daily contact with each patient, you play a key role in keeping the nurses up-to-date on vital information about the patients’ conditions.

Common activities include, but are not limited to:

Meal preparation

Medication reminders

Light housekeeping and laundry

[

Running errands, shopping and escorting patients to appointments and meetings

Assisting with hobbies or activities and providing companionship

[

Bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing and ambulation

Private Duty Nursing and Home Health Opportunities

Our nurses and therapists care for ill, injured or convalescing patients or persons with disabilities in private homes.

Common duties performed by our nurses and therapists:

Physical and psychological evaluations

[

Medication administration and teaching

[

Wound care

[

Tracheostomy care

[

Ventilator care

[

Catheter and ostomy care

[

Gastrostomy (G-Tube) care

[

Nasogastric (N-G Tube) care

[

Discontinue or hang additional intravenous bottles and piggybacks

[

Administer intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG)

[

Administering respiratory treatments

[

Obtaining laboratory specimens

[

Teach the patient/family about the patient's care needs and disease prevention

[

Physical and Occupational therapy to restore mobility and perform everyday functions

[

Speech therapy to assist with speech, cognition, and swallowing issues
