Arlington, Texas (July 2008) - NurseCore, a national leader in the medical staffing and home care services industry, today announced that it has named Deborah Y. Lollar as its new president and chief executive officer. Ms. Lollar, who has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare and staffing industries, takes over the leadership of a company that has grown to 20 offices in seven states in just 14 years.
“Deborah is an outstanding executive with a wonderful staffing and healthcare industry background,” said Larry M. Carr, NurseCore founder and chairman. “For more than 20 years she was instrumental in guiding the growth of another large nurse staffing organization, thus she knows what it takes to fulfill the needs of hospitals and home care service providers. We look forward to Deborah leading the great team we have already built at NurseCore to even greater success.”
“I am thrilled to join NurseCore, a company that takes seriously its commitment to exceed the expectations of customers, clients and employees,” said Lollar. “Larry Carr is a visionary in the industry, so it will be exciting to partner with him and the excellent staff he has assembled to continue building the organization, while also maintaining the ability to adapt to local clients’ individual needs.”
Prior to joining NurseCore, Lollar was the general manager for VITAS Healthcare of Texas, where she was responsible for the overall operation of a $30 million hospice program with more than 280 employees. Before joining VITAS, Lollar spent 22 years with Nursefinders, Inc. of Arlington, Texas, beginning as a regional service director and advancing to chief operating officer and executive vice president. She was responsible for all field operations, sales support, marketing and training for the $325 million (FY 2002) medical staffing firm. Lollar began her career as a speech and language pathologist for the physically handicapped in Lake County, Illinois.
